Mangalore: A tragic incident unfolded near Balmath Road as heavy rains triggered the collapse of a building under construction, resulting in two laborers being trapped in mud. Rajkumar (18) from Bihar and Chandankumar (30) from Uttar Pradesh were caught under a mound of soil loosened by incessant rains over the past three days.
Rescue operations swiftly commenced, and amidst the intense efforts, one laborer has been successfully rescued. However, the search continues as another laborer remains buried under the debris. Health department personnel are on-site, coordinating with rescue teams equipped with stretchers, tirelessly working to locate and save the remaining trapped laborer.
