A fatal accident involving two motorcycles occurred near Sacred Heart School in Kulshekar on Friday morning, September 27, resulting in the death of a young rider.

The victim, identified as 20-year-old Chandan, tragically lost his life while attempting to overtake a bus. During his maneuver, the side mirror of his motorcycle clipped another bike traveling in the opposite direction. This caused both riders to lose balance and fall onto the road.

Sadly, Chandan fell on the left side, directly in the path of the bus, which ran over him, causing fatal injuries. Despite immediate attention, he could not survive the impact.

Authorities from the Mangaluru East Traffic Police station have opened an investigation and filed a case regarding the accident. They are currently reviewing the details to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the collision.

This tragic incident highlights the risks involved in overtaking and the importance of road safety, especially in areas with high traffic flow.
