In a troubling incident on Tuesday, September 24, two women were harassed near Navabharath Circle around 10:25 a.m. A suspicious man approached them, blocked their way, and made derogatory comments, including explicit sexual propositions, such as, “I will give you money, come with me.” His intentions were clearly malicious.
The complainant, standing firm against the harassment, received help from passers-by to detain the individual until the police arrived.
A formal complaint has been lodged at the women’s police station, and authorities are investigating to improve safety in the area.
