Mangaluru: With the festive season fast approaching, Ullal police conducted a special route march across parts of the region to maintain peace, prevent untoward incidents and instil a sense of security among the public.
The route march was organised as a precautionary measure ahead of the upcoming festivals, with police personnel moving through important localities under the jurisdiction of the Ullal police station.
The special parade commenced at Nithyananda Nagar in Deralakatte and concluded at Sri Rajarajeshwari Siddhivinayak Temple in Kuthar.
Focus on peace and public safety
The initiative was aimed at maintaining law and order during the festive season, when public gatherings and celebrations generally increase across different parts of the region.
Through the route march, the police sought to send out a message of preparedness and vigilance while reassuring residents about their safety and security.

The special route march was led by Ullal police inspector Virupaksha Swami.
Sub-inspectors Revanna Siddayya and Santosh also participated in the march along with other police personnel attached to the Ullal police station.
The officers and personnel moved together along the designated route from Nithyananda Nagar in Deralakatte to the Sri Rajarajeshwari Siddhivinayak Temple in Kuthar.
The coordinated exercise highlighted the police department’s focus on visible policing and preventive measures ahead of the festive season.
