Mangaluru: A vehicle sticker campaign was launched in the city on Saturday as part of the “BSY Abhimanotsava” programme, organised to commemorate 50 years of social service by former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa.

The initiative forms part of a larger state-level celebration being held in Chitradurga, with party workers and leaders mobilising support and awareness through various outreach activities.

Leaders inaugurate campaign

The campaign was inaugurated in front of the Dakshina Kannada District BJP office in the presence of several senior party leaders. Symbolic launch with sticker distribution

As part of the inaugural event, stickers carrying the campaign message were symbolically affixed to a few vehicles. Party leaders stated that the initiative aims to spread awareness about the contributions of B. S. Yediyurappa and encourage wider participation in the Abhimanotsava celebrations.

The stickers are expected to be distributed across the district, with party workers planning to reach out to supporters and the general public in the coming days.

Statewide celebrations planned

The BSY Abhimanotsava programme is being organised across Karnataka to mark the veteran leader’s five decades of public life and service. Various events, including public gatherings and outreach campaigns, are scheduled in different districts as part of the celebrations.

Party representatives emphasised that the campaign is not only a tribute to Yediyurappa’s political journey but also an effort to strengthen grassroots engagement.
