Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan arrives in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: Vice-President of India C. P. Radhakrishnan arrived at Mangaluru International Airport on Saturday aboard a special Indian Air Force aircraft as part of his visit to Dakshina Kannada district. Senior officials and public representatives received the Vice-President upon his arrival amid heightened security arrangements at the airport.

Capt. Brijesh Chowta welcomed the Vice-President with a traditional jasmine garland. City Police Commissioner Sudheer Kumar Reddy CH and Deputy Commissioner Darshan HV were also present to receive the dignitary.

Helicopter journey to Dharmasthala

Following his arrival in Mangaluru, Vice-President Radhakrishnan travelled by helicopter to Dharmasthala, one of Karnataka’s most prominent pilgrimage centres. He is scheduled to stay overnight at the guest house in Dharmasthala before participating in official engagements on Sunday.

Authorities coordinated transportation and security arrangements along the route to facilitate the Vice-President’s movement from the airport to his destination.

Temple visit and industrial park inauguration

On Sunday, the Vice-President is scheduled to visit the renowned Dharmasthala Temple, a major spiritual and cultural landmark that attracts devotees from across the country.

As part of his official programme, he will also inaugurate the Siri Industrial Park at the Amruthavarshini Auditorium. The inauguration is expected to mark an important step in promoting industrial growth and economic development in the region.
