Mangaluru: A tragic incident occurred on Monday in Kallodi, Malavoor, within the Bajpe police station limits, resulting in the death of a woman who accidentally fell from the terrace of a building. The deceased, identified as 53-year-old Basamma, was playing with her grandchild at the time of the accident.
Basamma’s family resides on the second floor of the building. According to sources, she was on the terrace engaging with her grandchild when she lost her balance and fell. Immediate assistance was sought, and she was rushed to the nearest hospital. Despite the swift response, the doctors who examined her pronounced her dead upon arrival.
