Mangaluru: A 54-year-old woman, identified as Jalaja, has tragically passed away after sustaining severe injuries in a bike accident.
The incident took place on February 15 when Jalaja was on her way to the post office at Delanthabettu, riding pillion with her son’s friend. The rider lost control of the bike after it skidded, causing Jalaja to fall onto the road. She was immediately taken to a hospital in Mangaluru for treatment but succumbed to her injuries.
Her passing marks a heartbreaking loss for her loved ones. Authorities are investigating the incident further.
