Mangaluru: Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) launched its Calendar 2025 at the annual Sneha Milana 2024 event held at Yenepoya Medical College Hospital. The calendar was unveiled by Mr. A.K.M. Ashraf, MLA of Manjeshwar Constituency, and Dr. M.A. Wani, Senior Consultant at Yenepoya Group Hospitals.

Recognising Excellence and Community Impact
The calendar showcases the achievements of the 11 constituent institutions of Yenepoya University. Speaking at the event, Mr. A.K.M. Ashraf praised Yenepoya Medical College Hospital for its extensive charity work and affordable healthcare services, benefiting patients from Karnataka and Kerala.

Dr. M.A. Wani, Guest of Honour, highlighted the hospital’s expertise in specialty and super-specialty care, particularly in surgical procedures and kidney transplants, which have set benchmarks in the region.
Achievements and Accreditations
In his keynote address, Dr. Nagaraj Shet shared notable statistics, including the hospital’s treatment of over 6 lakh outpatients and its provision of cashless care for 40% of in-patients through government schemes. He emphasized Yenepoya’s wide catchment area and recognition under various Kerala government health schemes.

Dr. Habib Rahaman A.A., Medical Superintendent, underlined the hospital’s commitment to affordable, comprehensive healthcare, supported by its NABH and NABL accreditations. He encouraged the public to take advantage of the institution’s high-quality services.

The annual Sneha Milana event fosters community among Yen Mitras and Yen Sahyoga Partners, recognising their contributions to the university’s mission. The occasion was graced by the presence of Section Heads and Heads of Departments, strengthening the collaborative spirit of the institution.
