Mangaluru: Ms. Reshel Bretny Fernandes, a young and accomplished author, writer, and orator, has recently published her second book, BHARAT @2047 – Role of Youth. This work, published by Taneesha Publications, explores the significant role of youth in India’s journey towards its 100th year of independence. Ms. Fernandes, who has been passionate about writing since childhood, is the first young author to tackle such a grand topic. The book highlights how the contributions of youth in the past have shaped the present and will continue to impact the future. It also emphasizes the importance of celebrating India’s upcoming centenary of independence with a focus on the power and ideas of youth.

In a notable tribute, Ms. Fernandes dedicated this book to her grandfather, SGT Alex Monis Moodbidri, who served in the Indian Air Force for 36 years.

To honor her achievements and the significance of her book, Shri Umanath Kotian, MLA of Mulki Moodabidri constituency, felicitated Ms. Fernandes. He praised her for choosing such an inspiring topic and congratulated her on her accomplishments and the awards she has received. The event was attended by Shri Yogi Shetty, former Panchayat member, Shri Pradeep, Gram Panchayat President, and other distinguished guests, all of whom congratulated Ms. Fernandes on her remarkable achievements.
