In a heart-wrenching turn of events, a young man purportedly ended his life by coming under a train near his residence in Mulki police station limits. Identified as 19-year-old Karthik from Mailottu, he was employed in Chitradurga. The police report indicates that Karthik was in a relationship with an 18-year-old girl who allegedly died by suicide on May 17 in Moodbidri police station limits. The case is under investigation.
