Konaje: A 23-year-old young man who sustained serious injuries in a road accident near Kambalapadavu under the Konaje police station limits has succumbed to his injuries at a hospital on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Sushanth (23), son of Baby, a resident of Ambedkar Colony in Nadupadavu.

Accident and treatment

The accident occurred last Thursday when a lorry rammed into Sushanth’s motorcycle near Kambalapadavu. Due to the impact of the collision, he was thrown onto the road and sustained severe head injuries.

He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Deralakatte, where he was undergoing treatment. However, despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.
