Kalaburgi: BJP MP Umesh Jadhav has created controversy by visiting PSI exam scam’s kingpin RD Patil’s house in the city. According to the local sources, Jadhav went to his house, had snacks, and had a brief meeting.
RD Patil, the kingpin of the PSI exam scam that happened during the previous Basavaraj Bommai government, is now behind bars. The scam has ruined the lives of 58,000 candidates. Both the BJP and Congress were accusing each other, claiming RD Patil belonged to their rival parties, but MP Umesh Jadhav’s visit to his residence has raised question: to which party does RD Patil have an association?
The BJP party workers are finding it difficult to support the visit of their MP to Patil’s house. There is no answer from the party cadre as to what message Jadhav will be sending to society by this visit. The people may see this visit in a negative sense, and it definitely sends the wrong signal to the voters, said a party leader.
Congress party has shared the photographs of BJP MP having snacks at the residence of Patil and accused the party of supporting him and claimed they are the back-bone of the mastermind of the scam.
