Mandya: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that Congress‘ win in the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency is as true as the sun rises in the east.
He addressed the gathering at the Prajadhwani-2 programme held in Mandya today.
Kumaraswamy is an MLA from Ramanagara district. He could have contested from the rural constituency there. But NDA came here due to fear of defeat. The people of Mandya district have decided to defeat them here for sure. Thus, defeat is very clear, the CM said.
Narendra Modi’s Acche Din has not reached Indians even after 10 years. Acche Din has never been seen by the people of the state. “We implemented five guarantees with the aim of responding to the difficulties in the lives of the people of the state who were distressed by the policy of increasing the prices of diesel, petrol, gas, fertiliser, cooking oil due to Modi. From this, we have provided assistance programmes to every family in the state, which will provide 5 to 6 thousand rupees every month,” he said.
He said that even though Modi’s central government is troubling the people of the state, the state government is giving money along with rice to the people.
“Ask your heart who has kept the promises and cast your vote only to them. 27 MPs from BJP and allies won in the state did not even raise their voice about the problems of the state and insulted the votes received by the people of the state.” said Siddaramaiah.
He called upon the people of Mandya to show their self-respect and strength by making the Congress candidates who raise their voice for the people of the state win and by giving a befitting reply to the insult.

On this occasion, CM Siddaramaiah extended Sri Ram Navami greetings to the people of Mandya and the state and requested everyone to celebrate Ram Navami with devotion and gaiety.

“Don’t give credit to those who provoke Indians emotionally and cheat our lives. Give us strength to respond to people’s problems. The power you give will return at your doorstep in the form of good programmes,” the CM announced
