Mangaluru: Toastmasters from 21 clubs in Mangalore, Manipal, and Udupi will come together to celebrate the 100-year legacy of Toastmasters International at FALANA – the Annual Division F Meet and Speech Contest to be organized in Mangalore on 28 April 2024.
The event will mark a significant milestone – 100 years of Toastmasters International and its history in Mangalore over the last 25 years.
For the first time Division F is extending invitations to other like-minded organizations to participate in this exclusive event which will feature three segments:
-Education sessions by eminent speakers;
-Speech Contests involving 10 accomplished Toastmasters; and,
-Cultural celebration showcasing the heritage of coastal Karnataka.
Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that builds leadership and public speaking skills through a worldwide network of clubs that meet online and in person.
Founded in 1924, the organization is headquartered in Englewood, Colorado with clubs in 148 countries.
India alone has 9 Districts and District 121 covers the states of Kerala and Southern Karnataka.
Division F, Mangalore, started with one club in 2001 and now has close to 400 members from all walks of life, actively engaged in activities that foster personal growth and development.
These include students, corporate professionals, medical practitioners, and members of the community
