Think before wearing high heels, an evergreen classy trend

Most people like to wear high heels in general. Wearing high heels while wearing grand dresses, especially when attending weddings, and other grand events gives a more grander look. High heels also enhances one’s outer personality when wearing a kurta top and denims.

Slingback Pointed Toe High-Heels is one of the top trends of the season 2022. Metallic heel sandals and platform high feels too are in trend. 90s-styled mules have made a comeback and is here to stay for sometime. Court shoes and pointed-shoes with high heels is a lady’s best friend for that elegant look.

However, own of the stories from the many about the history of high heels is interesting. The origin of high heels can be traced back to 15th Century Persia. It is said that during the time the soldiers wore them to help secure their feet. Then the trend came to Europe through Persian migrants and it was always male who wore it in the beginning. In Europe too, the male aristocrats were the first to wear them to appear commanding.

But there may be some problems that occur due to wearing high heels. Always wearing high heels can put a lot of pressure on the muscles and cause injuries. So be trendy yet wise too. Be aware while walking with high heels because there are more chances of stumbling if not careful. And this may not only lead to embarrassing situations but also health risk. Not everyone has the ability to walk with high heels. It is better to wear if you can carry it off.

Wearing high heels daily is likely to hurt your feet and surrounding muscles, which can lead to swelling in the muscles. In the long run it can lead to severe joint pain and osteoarthritis. Pain may appear in the soles, heels or toes.

For relief of mild pain, a cold pack should be applied to the area where the swelling has appeared, and a massage of the feet can help you get relief too. It also releases pain from muscle and plantar fascia thickening. The strengthening the internal muscles also helps.

If advanced, to find relief from the pain that appears while wearing high heels, one may have to go through physiotherapy treatments too.
