Karwar: To ensure smooth conduct of the general elections and create awareness among the people about voting, the election awareness bike jatha was held from the Deputy Commissioner’s premises in the City. The jatha was organised with an aim to create awareness about the postal voting opportunity provided by the Central Election Commission to senior citizens and differently-abled persons by the District Administration, Zilla Panchayat Uttara Kannada, District Sweep Committee, and Karwar Taluk Panchayat.
