Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai inaugurated the “International Women’s Day” programme organised by the Department of Women and Child Development at Ravindra Kalakshetra Kannada Bhavan and presented the “Kittur Rani Chennamma Award” on Wednesday March 8. Women and Child Development Minister Halappa Achar, Saalumarada Thimmakka, Women’s Commission Chairperson Pramila Naidu, State Child Protection Commission Chairman Rajanna Gowda, DRDO’s Ashu Bhatia and others were present.
