Mysuru: The body of a female bear has been found at Nagarahole National Park and Forest Department sources said that the bear died of natural circumstances.
The body of the 5 to 6-year-old female bear was found when a guard was patrolling the forest area of the Chamalli branch of the Veeranhosalli Wildlife Sanctuary Zone.
Staff brought this to the attention of the higher authorities immediately, following which the senior officials of the forest department inspected the site.
The post-mortem was conducted and the body was put to rest. Post-mortem examination has confirmed that the bear died naturally.
