Lockdown violation in Mysuru: 128 cases registered

Mysuru: Mysuru police have seized 129 vehicles in violation of traffic rules and 128 cases were registered related to the violation of mask norms in the city.

Amid a surge in the cases of Covid 19 in Karnataka, the government issued strict lockdown guidelines. Despite this, several people have been found violating lockdown rules.

Some of these infringements involve needless roaming of 123 two-wheelers, 3 Auto Rickshaws, and 3 Cars were found. Around 128 mask-related norm violations were fined of total rupees 24, 000.

Police Commissioner Dr. Chandragupta urged the public to cooperate and abide by the rules to contain the Covid spread.
