Mysuru: Covid second wave is spreading fast with many already succumbing to the virus, which has created a sense of fear among the citizens. In this background it is important to take precautionary measures to stop second wave from turning deadly, said Dr Yatindra Siddaramaiah, MLA Varuna constituency.
He was speaking to officers under his constituency at a meeting held in Nanjangudu taluk office hall. He instructed that it is important to spread awareness about mask, sanitizers and social distancing among the public as precautionary measure to stop the spread of covid. He said that the infected should be treated with utmost care and required treatment and facilities including adequate beds and oxygen for the same should be made available to them. This is the responsibility of the officers, he stressed and asked suggested to the officers to inform him of any problem in this regard at the earliest.
He instructed the officers that the infected should be treated at Covid centers across the taluk and there should be no room for any negligence.
