Mysuru: The second wave of corona has created a climate of anxiety. The government has implemented the covid guidelines to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection as much as possible and the police department is taking strict action against the violators, said City Police Commissioner Dr Chandragupta.

A night curfew will be in place beginning April 11. City police have taken action against those in the city that do not follow the guidelines like wearing mask and following social distancing.

Dr Chandragupta said that the city police would likewise visit the places where the public gathers every day and take suitable action against offenders.
