
“Mysuru MP Yaduveer Elated Over Land Allocation for International Cricket Stadium”
Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Wadiyar expressed his excitement over the recent decision by the Special Cabinet Meeting to allocate land for the much-awaited international cricket stadium at Huyilalu village on the outskirts of Mysuru. This decision marks a significant step toward fulfilling the long-standing wish of Mysureans to witness international cricket matches in their city.
Wadiyar acknowledged the hurdles faced by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) in the past efforts to establish a stadium in Mysuru. He shared how he had personally met with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa, Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda, and Chief Secretary Dr. Shalini Rajaneesh, submitting a memorandum to push the proposal forward.
With the allocation of land now secured, Wadiyar emphasized that the first phase of work had been successfully completed. He called for swift action in acquiring the land and progressing with the remaining tasks to make the stadium a reality. Wadiyar appealed for the support and cooperation of the people to bring this dream to fruition, aligning with the aspirations of Mysuru’s residents.
