Mysuru: A 16-year-old girl who left her house on July 11 at around 5.30 pm has been missing since then, according to a press release issued by the Udayagiri police.
The missing girl has been identified as Umme Sufiya, a resident within the Udayagiri Police limits.
Police share details to trace girl
According to the police, Umme Sufiya is around 4.5 feet tall and has an oval-shaped face, normal build and light brown complexion. She has a mole on her right cheek and can speak Kannada and Urdu.
She was reportedly wearing a green top and pant when she left home on July 11.
Police have appealed to members of the public to share any information that could help trace the missing girl.
Public urged to contact police
Anyone with information regarding Umme Sufiya’s whereabouts has been requested to contact the Udayagiri Police Station on 0821-2418309.
Information can also be provided to the Police Control Room on 0821-2418339.
The police have urged people who may have seen the girl or have any information about her whereabouts to come forward and assist in the search.
The circumstances surrounding her disappearance were not provided in the press release.
