Mysuru: A transport bus travelling from Malavalli to Mysuru overturned near Madegoudana Hundi on the Mysore-Bannur main road, leaving the driver seriously injured.
The incident occurred earlier today, causing panic among passengers. Alert locals rushed to the scene and assisted in rescuing all the occupants from the toppled vehicle. Thanks to their quick action, further injuries were averted.
The injured driver and several passengers were immediately shifted to a hospital in Mysuru city for medical treatment. Hospital authorities have confirmed that the driver’s condition remains critical, while others sustained minor injuries.
Preliminary reports suggest the accident may have occurred due to loss of control, though investigations are ongoing.
