Mysuru: The body of a 21-year-old LLB student who had reportedly left his home a month ago following a quarrel with his family was found floating in Kukkarahalli Lake on Saturday, leaving his family and the local community shocked.
The deceased has been identified as Nandan Gowda, an LLB student at a private law college in Mysuru. He was the son of Shankaregowda and Sharada, residents of Saraswathipuram.
The circumstances surrounding Nandan’s death are yet to be established, and police have begun an investigation into the incident.
Morning walkers spot body in lake
According to police, morning walkers noticed a body floating in Kukkarahalli Lake on Saturday morning.
They immediately alerted the Jayalakshmipuram police, following which police personnel and fire and emergency services teams reached the spot.
The body was subsequently retrieved from the lake.
