Mysuru: The body of an unidentified man was found near a canal close to Kempaiyanahundi-Tumbala village on the Mysuru–T. Narasipura road, with police suspecting that he may have been murdered before being abandoned at the spot.
The deceased, believed to be around 35 to 40 years old, was found with severe head injuries, prompting the police to investigate the case from a homicide angle.

According to police, local residents noticed the body lying near the canal and immediately alerted the authorities.
