The Tiger Adventure Foundation, based in Mysuru, collaborated with Mountain Goat to organize a trekking expedition to Mt. Pangarchulla and Mt. Kuari Top in the Joshimath region of Chamoli district, Uttarakhand. The expedition, conducted between April 30 and May 10, saw the participation of 15 enthusiastic trekkers from various cities, including Mysuru, Bengaluru, Nanjangud, Chamarajanagar, Puttur, Mangaluru, and Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh.

Trek Highlights

  • Destination: Participants embarked on a challenging journey to scale Mt. Pangarchulla, towering at an elevation of 15,000 feet, and Mt. Kuari Top, standing at 12,500 feet.
  • Training: Prior to the expedition, participants received training at Kabini backwaters to prepare for the trekking challenges ahead.
  • Diverse Participants: Trekkers of varying ages, including individuals as old as 70, enthusiastically joined the expedition, showcasing their spirit of adventure and determination.

This trekking camp provided participants with an unforgettable experience amidst the stunning landscapes of Uttarakhand, fostering camaraderie and a sense of accomplishment among all involved.
