Mysuru: Two exceptional students from Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, Vijayanagar, have earned a place in the India Book of Records, bringing pride to their school and the city. Their remarkable accomplishments showcase their mastery in reciting traditional Sanskrit shlokas, setting new benchmarks in speed and precision.

Record Achievements

  • Bhavish Gowda J, a seventh-grade student, achieved his feat by reciting 20 shlokas from the 12th Chapter of the Bhagavad Gita in just 1 minute and 24 seconds.
  • Samrudh M.K., another seventh-grader, set a record by reciting the Vishnu Sahasranama (a revered compilation of 108 shlokas) in an extraordinary time of 5 minutes, 2 seconds, and 19 milliseconds.
