Mangaluru: The sixth episode of Amazing People second season was premiered on Sunday August 28 at 10.30 am IST.
The guest of the episode was M. R. Vasudeva, Mangaluru International Airport Former Director. The host of Amazing People is Spearhead Media Group Mentor and Advisor CA Valerian Dalmaida.
The programme was premiered on NewsKarnataka.com’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
M. R. Vasudeva shared, “During my posting in Shimla I learnt I have no way to get higher jobs except for learning and earning.”
He also shared his experience of working under Airport Authorities of India, in Mangalore and the obstacles faced and initiatives taken in order to convince the residents to vacate their land for the purpose of constructing runway and successful operationalisation of Airport.
“I am still not satisfied with my work. But I have contentment for performing my duties to the best way possible,” he expressed.
He shared concern stating, “Youngsters today have ample of opportunities but I feel they are restricting themselves to the closed rooms. They need to come out and work for the society,” he opined.
M. R. Vasudeva appreciated the initiative of NewsKarnataka for connecting the people through such programme. Valerian Dalmaida expressing gratitude signed off.
