Mangaluru: Thank You Karnataka is a series of programmes organised to celebrate decennial year of News Karnataka and thus thank Kannadigas all over the globe for supporting the Spearhead Media Group to achieve this milestone.
One of the programme under Thank You Karnataka series is Arogya Manthana, a show on health, which is aired Monday September 26.
The guest of the fourth episode show that aired on Monday was Dr. Amardeep, Dental Surgeon. The anchor person for the programme was Dr. Anuradha.
The programme was premiered on NewsKarnataka.com’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
Dr. Amardeep on choosing to work in rural area shared, “Earning is possible in cities but to serve the people village is the best choice told my conscience and so I chose to work in Shirthady.”
He also advised on the Do’s and Don’ts in brushing and highlighted that the health of tooth depends on the way of holding the brush and not on the pressure which is created through wrong methods of brushing.
Dr. Amardeep also answered the queries like, Why toothpaste?, Is tooth powder recommended?, Why mouth flossing?, Is mouth wash liquids a need? and suggested to have a tooth checkup once in every six months.
“Tooth infection is connected to systemic blood circulation and so it may also cause deadly and dangerous heart infections as well,” cautioned Dr. Amardeep.
