Mangaluru: Thank You Karnataka is a series of programmes organised to celebrate decennial year of News Karnataka and thus thank Kannadigas all over the globe for supporting the Spearhead Media Group to achieve this milestone.
One of the programme under Thank You Karnataka series is Arogya Manthana, a show on health which is aired every Monday.
The guest of the third episode which was aired on August 29 was Dr. Shrishaila Badami, MPharm, PhD, Principal, Margadatshan College of Pharmacy, Ilkal. The anchor person for the programme is Dr. Anuradha K. C. of Kakunje Ayurvedic Wellness Clinic, Moodabidri.

Dr. Shrishaila Badami shed light on, How to take food and what causes ill-health?
Stating, “Our food should be 100% natural because our body is not the mixture of chemicals but pure nature made,” he shed light on various diseases that are caused due to chemicals entering in our body through food.
“Hybrid food consumption stops the required micro nutrients to the body. The high consumption of hybrid products will eradicate our parental genes within our body and also in our kids along deteriorating our health,” he expressed concern.
Dr. Shrishaila Badami gave information on various types of cooking vessels which can be used for cooking and types which can cause ill health.
