Two more teams fight it out in 2nd episode of Nine Days Christmas Carols

Dubai: The second episode of Nine days Christmas Carlos, organized by Spearhead Media Pvt. Ltd. (Parent company of News Karnataka.com) on the occasion of the Christmas season, was held on Saturday, December 19.

The show was compered by main programme host CA Valerian Dalmaida and co-host Rajesh Sequeira live from Dubai.

The contest on Saturday was between two teams: Lancy and family from Dubai and Neel D’cunha from Abu Dhabi.

Rohan Correa, a musician and co-founder of Konkani Prayer Group, Rupert Vaz, a renowned Singer who has been working in Abudabhi for the past 20 years and is a member and Co-ordinator of the St.Joseph Konkani Prayer Group, and Anitha Serrao, a music composer and singer with expertise in vocals, were the judges for the day.

During the show, all the Judges watched the videos submitted by the teams. Speaking about the first team from Dubai, the judges said that the song was performed well and was justified, and the background was well organized. They concluded that the music blended well with the song. About the second team from Abu Dhabi, the judges said that although the song was conducted and sung well, the music was not audible and the total involvement was missing. They then wished both the teams the best.

Towards the end, the host thanked the judges and the teams for their participation and signed off.

The contest will continue till December 24 and the winner will be awarded a cash prize of INR 9,000 whereas the runner-up will receive INR 6,000 and the second runner will get INR 3,000 cash prize.
