Manama, Bahrain : A Personality Development workshop for youth was organised under the aegis of the Kannada Sangha, Bahrain recently. Abhishek Shetty, young orator, promising trainer and son of senior member Ashok Shetty, was the resource person.
Over 150 students and members of the Sangha took part in the programme. Abishek Shetty who has conducted several workshops both for youngsters and seniors in Bahrain and also in India has emerged a talented trainer and resource person. He is also the author of two informative books entitled ‘Academic Excellence and 101 Habits to Greatness’ which have been best sellers.
Shetty aims at training one billion students and thereby contribute to empowerment of youth and is successfully marching ahead in this direction.
During the workshop organised by the Kannada Sangha, Bahrain he trained youngsters in leadership qualities, improving memory power, optimum use of time, art of communication and stress management.
Dr Subhash Devarahalli, noted cardiologist of Ibin Al Nafees Hospital, gave information on cardiac diseases including symptoms of heart diseases, first aid, precautionary measures, food habits and life style. He also answered various queries of participants.
Rajkumar, President of the Sangha, felicitated the resource persons by presenting them with mementoes. Rajesh Shetty, General Secretary of the Sangha, welcomed the gathering and proposed the vote of thanks.
