Abu Dhabi , Dec 1 : Bearys Welfare Forum-Abu Dhabi felicitated Karnataka Health Minister U.T. Khader who was on a short visit to the UAE, on Sunday.
Khader lauded the BWF for its tremendous service to the community and for undertaking Mass marriage, Shouchalaya project etc, which he said has uplifted the needy in the community. He laid emphasis on the problems faced by the community back in India. He exhorted the community members to strive for the betterment of the society and to work together to achieve success in all spheres of life.
BWF general secretary Abdulla Madumoole welcomed the gathering and Irshad Berikatte recited the verses of Holy Quran in the beginning. BWF president Mohamed Ali Uchil presided over the gathering. Siddiq Uchil, Althaf of Saibaan community and Maulavi Haroun participated. Rafeeq Krishnapur, coordinator of BWF, proposed the vote of thanks. Siddiq Uchil , Nawaz Uchil and Mohd Kallapu were present.
