Dubai: Karnataka Islamic Centre (KIC) – UAE organized Iftar meet and KIC confluence at Apal International School, Al Qusais here recently.
Bahu Sayyed Asgar Ali Tangal inaugurated the programme that was begun after the recitation of verses from Holy Quran by Mohammed Sharif Ashrafi.
Speaking on the occasion, KIC – UAE president Mohiudeen Kutty Kakkinje lauded the yeomen service of Jamia Al Kousar Shariat College, Kumbra in Puttur taluk of Dakshina Kannada district.
Alawi Kutty Hudavi in his address explained the importance of Ramadan and internet abuse.
The young preacher and multi-linguist scholar Abdul Nasir who was the first B A student to be awarded with “Kousaril” title from Jamia Al Kousar Shariat College, Kumbra, arrived in his maiden visit to UAE, in his keynote address explained the significance of observing Ramadan. He also sought the support for the development of Jamia Al Kousari Shariat College, where over 100 students are studying.
KIC Dubai Committee president Abdul Khader Baitadka, Sharjah Committee president Haji Abdul Razak Manila and others were present at the dais.
