KMCA set to celebrate ‘Karnataka Rajyotsava’ on November 6

Doha: Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association, a socio-cultural group affiliated to ICC, is all set to celebrate its mega event ‘Karnataka Rajyotsava’ at Al-Maha Boys Academy-Doha on November 6, 2015.
KMCA president Niyaz Ahmed told media persons here that, this year H.R.Ranganath from Public TV, will be gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest and also that renowned artistes from Karnataka including Omganesh, Satish Hemmadi, Asadulla Beig and Vilas Nayak are going to entertain Qatar Kannadigas.

Multi-talented renowned artist Omganesh will be compering the function. He is a famous magician, Kannada Film Actor, column writer, shadow player and event organizer. He has performed in more than 40 countries and bagged many state-national awards.

Vilas Nayak who is being appreciated and admired all over the world for his unique art skills, is a speed painting artist who showed his hand skill in TV shows ‘Asia’s Got Talent’ and ‘ India’s Got Talent’. Performing over more than 20 countries, he has a huge fan base. His performance has also been well appreciated by Dr.APJ Abul Kalam, Football legend Pele, Cricket star Sachin Tendulkar, Singapore president Tony Tan Keng Yam, Tv stars Sharukh Khan, Salman Khan and many more. So far, he has raised more than 1 million USD for charity through auction of his art works.

Asadullah Beig is a unique Kannada Shayari poet, who has captured many Kannada Poetry lovers’ attention. After serving as a Bank Manager for several years, he nourished his passion for Kannada literature with his unique style of writing. He is an extraordinary performer who can perform continuously for more than an hour and engage his audiences with his extraordinary shayari.

Satish Hemmadi, a renowned young talented magician, who is famous for his “Milk Can Escape” and Umbrella unwind act, has received several National awards for his outstanding performance.

Niyaz went on to say that this year, KMCA’s ‘Karnataka Rajyotsava’ celebration will be a day of entertainment. Gate passes for the function will be available at Mazza Restaurant, Maharaja Restaurant and Swagat Restaurant.

Niyaz also said, “In continuation of the effort to promote knowledge about Karnataka among Qatar based children, KMCA will be conducting a written quiz competition “Explore Karnataka” on October 30 2015, at the Royal Garden Compound Club House, D-Ring Road’.
