Dubai: UAE’s most charming Mangalorean personality, Model and dancer Dileep Shetty emerged as the runner up of the prestigious Mr. Dubai 2015.
A high profile glittered evening which included famous celebrities and stars saw the talented Dileep Shetty compete against twenty tough competitors and emerge in the top three.
Born to supportive and loving parents Raju Shetty and Sumathi R, Dileep was always passionate about dance. This passion led him to great achievements. After finishing his master’s education from Alvas Collage Moodabidri he moved to UAE and currently working in NMC Hospital Al Ain.
Driven by his love for dancing and with the intention of making it big in UAE, he participated in Nach Baliye UAE and was selected in the top finalists. Currently, he continues rocking the stage with his fabulous moves with UAE’s leading dance troop Showstoppers Dance Crew.
Speaking to News Karnataka, Dileep said, “I am happy to receive this prestigious award. I tried my level best to achieve this and the blessing of my parents, well-wishers has brought me to the 2nd top position between competitors of 7 nationalities. I have already received offers for a couple of modeling assignments and hope that the Mr. Dubai title and experience will help me achieve all my dreams.
Mr. Dubai 2015 auditions were held at the Dubai Majestic Hotel and Dileep was short listed in the Top 20 out of thousands of candidates from various countries across the globe. The competition was held in three rounds which included a fashion show, talent round and finale performance.
In these three rounds Dileep won Best street wear in ramp walk round, best talent award and won 1st runner up in the final round.
