Sharjah: The Karnataka Cultural Foundation (KCF) is an organisation constituted by expatriate Muslim Kannadigas, which has been in operation throughout the Gulf Countries (United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman & Bahrain), Malaysia and London, for the past few years. The KCF has been guided by eminent scholars and controlled by the International Council in Karnataka, India under the patronage of the Sunni Student Federation & Sunni Yuvajana Sangha, which are the well-disciplined associations in Karnataka having more than 100,000 active members.
KCF is a rapidly growing organisation which has been moulded to secure the valued theories of Islamic culture within the youth, thereby protecting the vanished values of humanity. In the past years, KCF has conducted a number of programmes with regard to several charitable activities, educational relief, da-awa consultancies, continuous coaching, educational/spiritual tours and many more.
As a part of its continuous effort to provide better services to the community, KCF Sharjah Zone, under the direction of UAE National Committee, has decided once again to organise the Grand Meeladunnabi Conference and celebration of UAE National Day on December 1 at Ibn Seena English High School, Al Shahba, near the Cricket Stadium, Sharjah with the title of “MEHFIL-E-MUSTAFA” and the slogan “Prophet of Tolerance”, on the occasion of UAE’s 46th National Day and 1492nd Birth Anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. The celebration, commemoration and observance of the birth, life, achievements and favours of the Holy Prophet upon the community are a practice, which is meritorious, and a necessary requirement for the Muslim Community.
The event will be presided over by Abboswalih Saquafi, the President of KCF Sharjah Zone and the “Dua” led by Kerala Muslim Jamath General Secretary Sayyid Ibrahim Khaleel Al Bukhari Thangal Kadalundi. Abdul Hameed Saadi, KCF UAE National President will Inaugurate the conference. Kerala state SYS President, Moulana Perod Abdul Rahman Saquafi, Director of Markaz Assaqafathu Sunniya Karanthoor, Dr. Abdul Hakeem Azhariand Muhammad Ali Saquafi, General Manager of Darul Ashariya will be the key speakers on the occasion.
Haji K Sheikh Bava, Janab M S Muhammad, Janab Iqbal Mangalore, Sheikh Kunwal Munir, Sheikh Amal Munir, Janab Zakariya Jokatte, Janab Syed Hafizullah, Janab Abdul Nasar Thayal, Janab Sheikh Sameer and other local Arab leaders are the special guests.
The KCF Sharjah Zonal Committee has requested all Kannadigas and Keralites residing in the UAE to participate in this programme and make this event a great success.
