Mangaluru/UAE: Mogaveers UAE, an association for the Mogaveer community has been involved in various humanitarian support programmes including Blood Donation Campaigns in the UAE and elsewhere.
Further adding to this list of goodwill for the society, the association handed out an annual scholarship for three students of the community on November 8, at the Sri Mariamma Temple, Urwa, Mangaluru.
Harshitha Kotian, Moolur, a student of Poorna Prajna College, Udupi; Sahana Mendon, Bolooru, currently studying in SDM College, Mangaluru and Deeksha Puthran, Manjeshwara, studying in SDM College, Ujire are the beneficiaries who received the scholarship amount from Mogaveers UAE President Lokesh Puthran and General Secretary Yadav Kotian along with esteemed committee members Pramod Kumar, Harish Amin, Dhanjaya Salian, Vinay Salian and Kiran Kumar.
Former President of Elu Patna Mogaveera Samyuktha Sabha, Yadav Salian, Mokthesara of Urwa Sri Mariamma temple Sham Sunder and Manager of Urwa Sri Mariamma temple Purushotham Kotian were also present on the occasion.
In the last seven years, Mogaveers UAE has launched several programs by contributing specifically to the underprivileged, thus transforming their lives, a release issued by the association stated.
