Dubai:The Omzoorche Dive, an organization of Mangaloreans hailing from Holy Family Church, Omzoor and currently settled in UAE celebrated the Monti feast(Feast of Nativity of Mary) and Kutmachen fest(feast of the family) by having the new crop with milk(Noven Jenvnchen) at Regency apartment qusis Dubai on 13th of September today.
The program commenced with the welcome address by President of the organization Arthur D’souza.
The celebration(Noven Jenvnchen) began when Mrs. Luci Pereira, eldest of all present at the occasion handed over the new crop mixed with milk to newly married wemen who are considered as the daughter-in-law’s of Omzoor parish namely, Jenita Lasrado, Zeena D’souza and Mitchale Lasrado and later it was distributed to all the present.
After this stage function,the members of association entertained the audience by singing various melodious tracks and Melwyn Dsouza’s rocking performance pleased to everyone.
The participants are: Sunil Pereira, Arthur D’souza, Glen Carlo, Sandeep Fernandes, Meena, Prashanth.
Joseph Dsouza and James Fernandes supported the singers with the music.
DJ Lancy kept the program lively with the Sounds and the games were conducted by Steeven Dsouza.
Babita Dsouza compeered the program while Mr.George Menezes rendered the vote of thanks.
