‘Rama’ banned in Saudi Arabia! - 1 min read

Saudi Arabia : Saudi Arabia being an Islamic nation, the government there has banned several names including the name of     Rama which  it believes conflicts the culture of the land.  A total of 50 names have been banned and the administration has directed the citizens not to  keep such banned names to their children.

The banned names include Rama and Maya. Other names in the list of banned names are Malaq, Abdul Ati, Abdul Naser, Abdul Maslia, Binyamin, Naris, Yara, Amir, Larin, Lauren, Bayan, Ian. Abdul Muyin, Jibril, Lina. Inar. Eliane  Malika, Mamalaka, Abrar etc.
