Dubai: The much awaited first international Tulu movie “Nirel” completes its talkie portion shoot done entirely in the Gulf which is a new hub for film makers from all over the world.
“Shooting a movie in foreign country is not an easy task, each and everything needs permission which costs huge” exclaims San Poojary, Co Producer of much awaited and high budget International Tulu Movie Nirel. “But still we never compromised on anything, it makes us proud to see the footage which we shot on editing screen” he added. The Director, man behind the film praises San Poojarys dedication and hard work in making impossible things possible in this part of the world.
“Arranging shooting locations and items needed for shoot was a big challenge. It is only because of San Poojarys communication skills with ample support of Producer, we could get nice locations for shoot” he added.
After completing almost 27 Days of shoot of talkie portion, “Nirel” is in editing room. Because of extreme outside temperature in the Gulf, song shoot and climax shoot of movie is pending. Mean time team planned to edit the scenes which are already shot.
Three Songs will be shot indoor in the Gulf, which will be starting in coming week. Well known Rajneesh Amin, the Art Director of the movie is making arrangements for the art works and setups required for song shoot. It is quite a wonder to see Rajneesh Amin, well equipped to produce art set ups on the spot itself which is being very well appraised by his Team mates. He is one of the multi talented personality in this team who works beyond expectation says the Director. So by the end of August it is expected to finish the complete shooting of the movie.
Shodhan Prasad, speaking to media praised the team spirit, dedication, faith and hard work of the team, result of which can be seen on screen. He added that every member of the team did more than what they were supposed to do. This is purely because of their love towards their mother tongue “Tulu”.
Much tough task of arranging the requirement of the shoot is done efficiently by San Poojary while Production Executive cum Asst. Director Sachin Padil managed the onset arrangements effectively. He plays an important part in this making with his ever calm nature and smiling face. Neha Bangera as Asst. Director 1 and Ramya Rajneesh Amin as Asst. Director 2 have been dedicatedly helping the Director all through the shoot whether it is 6 AM in the morning or 1 AM midnight. Also it is commendable that San Poojary’s multi task including Production Managers has kept his team work as scheduled without much interruption. He also mentioned that, Indian Film Industry has lot of Tuluvas as big stars, technicians etc. and we should increase the quality of movies produced in Tulu so that everyone must be proud about our own movies.
“It is really heartwarming to see the support of our Tuluvas who participated for “Nirel” when we shot Tulu Parba scene in Dubai recently wherein more than 350 people participated patiently acting as visitors from early morning till late night”, he added. Shodhan Prasad sincerely thanked all those who have supported, providing their premises, homes and logistic help wholeheartedly for shooting throughout.
Well known Ashwath Samuel, former Editor of the very famous Indias CID TV Serial is editing the movie, as a experienced editor. Samuel looks into every minute aspects of the scenes in making a perfect cut and to give a lively and crisp editing. He is more than happy with the output of the edited part, and proudly says that it is no where shows sign of an amateur team work. The Camera work is being perfectly handled by Mani Kookal as a perfectionist too appealing. He is being ably assited by Anil, Sharath, Bashi & Manoj.
San Poojary says, “We did not keep any deadline for release date so that it will not affect the quality of the movie. Our aim is to make a best Tulu movie to mark in history and hope we will succeed with the blessings of our Tuluvas”. Song recording is ready and once the editing part completes we will plan a song release function in Dubai.
Songs are highlight of the movie and the music of the film is composed by Abhishek S.N, a software engineer by profession from Bangalore and music is being arranged by Mumbai’s very famous Swapnil Digde. Singers for the movie were also selected from the audition. Akshatha Rao, Pramod Kumar and Shiv Kumar are among the singers selected however Music Director Abhishek S. N also sang the romantic song of the movie. Lyrics of the movie is written by well known Loku Kudla and Rajneesh Amin. Movie will feature a surprise song by Dubai’s popular businessman and singer Harish Sherigar which is being brilliantly recorded.
Movie features Anoop Sagar in lead role, Varuna Shetty & Deepthi as lead heroines with Sachin Padil, Deepak Paladka, Subhash, Anand Salian, Jameel Sheikh, Nithyananda Beskoor, Vikram Kateel, Vidya, Nindiya, Claudy, Rajendra Pai, Ashok Palan, Vishwapathi Bhat, Pravin Shetty, Sandhya Prasad, Veera Rodrigues, Balu Shetty, Shashi Shetty, Ashwini Santosh, Roshan Donald, Joel Jaison, Satish Venkataramana, Police Ozy, Nagesh Ganiga, Shantaram Achar and many more actors who were selected in Dubai.
Main attraction will be a guest appearance by South Indias famous star actor Ramesh Arvind and Dubai top Mangalorean model beauty Ria Dsouza.
