Dubai: Spark Dubai, amateur play troupe bagged the first place in “Vivid Vinodaval” an unique drama competition that was staged in the leadership of Dubai based Mangalore Konkans,at JSS Scooz Jumaira auditorium, here. It was organized by Mangalore Konkans to commemorate their silver jubilee celebrations.
Spark Dubai bagged the top place among drama troupes of Konkan Bells, Cordelchen Kalakar, Uswas, Karavali Milan and Mogachim Laram that competed in the Vivid Vinodaval.
Cordelchen Kalakar and Karavali Milan were the runners up.
The singers of famed Gulf Voice of Mangalore mesmerized the audiences with their scintillating music at the occasion.
The comedy group of Pradeep Barboza enthralled the audiences with their choicest of jokes and mimicry.
Cajetan Pereira Kuwait, Oswald DSouza from Abu Dhabi, Shama Rani from Dubai and Avril Rodrigues from Dubai were the jurors.
The renowned entrepreneurs Herman Lewis, Joseph Mathias, Denis Mark DSouza and others were present at the occasion.
