Thousands Partake in Varamahalxmi Puja at Suburban Malad

Mumbai: Sri Varamahalaxmi puja Committee of suburban Malad organized mass Varamahalaxmi puja at the leadership of Vedic celebrant Sanoor Shantinja Janardhan Bhat at Jeejamata School hall, Kurar, Malad (East) here.  The renowned journalist B Dinesh Kulal was instrumental in organizing the puja celebrations.

The metro-based Bunts Sangh president chartered accountant Shankar Shetty and metro based Billawar Association president L V Amin were the guests of honor during the religious celebrations.

The puja Committee president advocate Jagannat Shetty presided the celebrations.

The senior citizens were felicitated, free books were distributed to the poor students and financial assistance handed over to poor on the occasion.

The hotelier Kariyappa Gowda, Bunts Sangh Jogeshwari – Dahisar regional Committee vice president Karunakar Shetty, Abhyudaya Bank officer Premanat Salian, Kulal Sangh Dahisar – Churchgate local Committee president Dr Nikesh Moolya, Billawar Association – Malad local Committee president Santosh Poojary, Hindu Jagaran Vedike – Bantwal secretary Ravi Bangera, Committee treasurer Jagannat H Mendon and others were present on the dais.

Swami Ravi of Sri Mahammayee temple, Jayalaxmi Credit society secretary Rangappa Gowda, Kurar Shani Mahatme Puja Committee former president Babu Chandan, entrepreneur Jayant Shetty and Puja Committee founder member Krishna Prabhu were honored on the same occasion.
