The inauguration of the conference was done by Dr Ramakrishnan Raman, Fellow at Honeywell Aerospace Bengaluru. He has stressed the knowledge of the basic science of systems is important for engineering graduates to apply advanced tools like Machine learning and artificial intelligence to solve complex systems. He reiterated that the best performance with the optimal cost at a minimal time in modern gadgets is possible through advances in computational power and modern computational algorithms. However, he mentioned that human intelligence cannot be replaced by machines.
Director MIT, Dr Anil Rana, Retd Commander has presided over the function. He advised all participants to make use of deliberations and shared his experience of control and instrumentation of naval warships.
Dr Shreesha C Head of the department welcomed the gathering. Ganesh Nayak, Convener gave an overview of the conference. Aneesha Acharya, co-convener proposed a vote of thanks. P. Chenchu Saibabu co-convener was also present.
