Shivamogga: The lifeless body of Vinod, a young man from Bellary who was swept away by the strong currents at Talasi Abby waterfall near Yedur in Hosnagar taluk, has been found this morning.
The tragic incident occurred on Sunday, prompting an extensive search operation led by PSI Ramesh from the fire brigade and assisted by locals. Despite their efforts, Vinod could not be located. Authorities suspected that he may have tragically lost his life.
On Monday morning, drowning expert Ishwara Malpe and his team, including Kota Jeevan Mitra and Nagaraja Putran, were called in for assistance. With their expertise and determination, they successfully retrieved Vinod’s body, which had become trapped in a stone crevice underwater.
Following a post-mortem examination at Nagar Samyukta Government Hospital, Vinod’s remains were taken to Mincheri village in Huttoor, Bellary district, where his family resides. The group of twelve individuals, including Vinod, had traveled to Yadur Abby waterfall to enjoy its natural beauty.”
