Bengaluru: National Award-winning Kannada Actor Sanchari Vijay has suffered brain failure as per doctors treating him. His family members have decided to donate his organs.
Speaking to the media persons his brother Siddesh Kumar said that, “He always worked for the betterment of society. During the pandemic, he even worked round-the-clock on relief operations. As a result, we have made the decision to donate his organs. We believe that it will bring him peace. He will continue to help the society even in death. Thanks to everyone who tried to do their best to help him.”
According to Apollo Hospital medical report on June 13, he was brought to the hospital shortly after the incident and suffered critical brain injuries. There was brain bleeding as a result of this. He underwent immediate brain surgery following which he remained in coma.
In the recent medical report by Apollo Hospital on Mobday June 14 states that he is deeply unconscious and is showing signs of brain failure. The hospital authorities stated that they will follow the guidelines as per organ donation protocol.
Vijay, who won a national award for his role in Naanu Avanalla, Avalu has appeared in a number of Kannada films. On Saturday night in the city’s J.P Nagar, he met with a bike accident that left him with brain injuries.
As the actor remains critical, condolences poured in from his colleagues from the fraternity, friends, admirers and fans.
