Bengaluru: Veteran actor Lakshman died of heart attack on Monday January 23.
The 74-year-old Lakshman complained of heart pain and was taken to the hospital on Sunday night. Later, he was brought back after ECG tests. However, Lakshman died after a massive heart attack in the wee hours of Monday.
Lakshman gained fame by playing supporting roles in many movies including Yajamana and Surya Vamsha. He has acted in more than 200 movies.
Lakshman had acted with all top actors of Kannada film industry including late Dr Rajkumar, late Ambareesh, late Vishnuvardhan, late Shankar Nag and others.
Sources said that arrangements have been made at his Mudalapalya residence for fans to pay final respects.
Sandalwood celebrities and cinephiles have condoled the death of Lakshman.
