Shiva Rajkumar Advises Fans to Wish ‘Happy Deepavali’ Instead of ‘Diwali’

Famous Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar made a considerate suggestion in response to a fan's Diwali greeting on social media. When a fan wished him a "Happy Diwali," Shiva Rajkumar said that although the holiday makes him happy, it also makes him sad. He advised fans to wish one another a "Happy Deepavali."

Renowned Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar responded to a fan’s Diwali greeting on social media by offering a thoughtful suggestion. When a fan wished him “Happy Diwali,” Shiva Rajkumar expressed that while Diwali brings joy, it also invokes sadness for him. He recommended that fans extend their wishes with “Happy Deepavali.”

In his response on Twitter, Shiva Rajkumar said, “Deepavali aadre happy aagirathe! Diwali Thumba sad aagirathe. Deepavali anni #HappyDeepavali.”

Meanwhile, Shiva Rajkumar attended the ongoing World Cup match against the Netherlands at Chinnaswamy Stadium, displaying his support for Team India. The actor received a warm welcome from fans in the spectator gallery, and he acknowledged their cheers with a wave. Shiva Rajkumar also spent time providing commentary in Kannada for the match.

A viral picture featuring Shiva Rajkumar, Katrina Kaif, and Nagarjuna has generated curiosity on social media. The image, showcasing the trio in traditional attire, sparked speculation about a potential collaboration for an upcoming film. However, it was later revealed that the picture was part of a promotional campaign for a jewellery brand shared on Nagarjuna’s Facebook page.

Despite the clarification, Shiva Rajkumar’s popularity in the film industry is soaring, particularly after his remarkable performance in “Jailer.” The actor, acclaimed for his role as Narasimha, is currently receiving numerous offers from various filmmakers.

Shiva Rajkumar’s recent release, “Ghost,” directed by MG Srinivas and produced by Sandesh Nagaraj, has been another milestone in his career. The film, featuring an ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Jayaram, Prashant Narayanan, Archana Jois, MG Srinivas, and Satya Prakash, has received acclaim. Despite a budget ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 15 crore, “Ghost” has reportedly grossed Rs 30 crore worldwide since its October 19 release, solidifying Shiva Rajkumar’s stature in the film industry.
